Timely (there’s an understatement) report from the House of Commons Education Committee calling for  a curriculum “to meet needs of all pupils,” and pointing out that a “curriculum which is poorly differentiated for children with different strengths will not hold children’s attention and will lead to misbehaviour.” It recommends that the future curriculum “should contain a mix of academic and vocational subjects in order to meet the needs of all pupils.” Hooray! Hope ‘he-who-must-not-be-named’ will listen.
