Business manager role
Responsible for £270k spend and successful delivery of key business marketing targets and projects. In addition, developing and exploiting new channel opportunity, driving improvements in return on investment (ROI) and leading innovative and creative communication strategies within the primary education sector. Specific responsibilities included:
- Leading and deliver a strategic programme of communication campaigns
- Inspiring and managing a team of high calibre marketing executives
- Delivering a targeted series of professional and well-attended National Conferences
- Creating and presenting a main session at these conferences
- Developing and owning a customer relationship management programme
- Developing and exploiting productive relationships with key national organisations
- Working closely with the sales team in support of lead and order intake targets
- Designing, developing and implementing a strategic programme of marketing activity for a full fiscal year and beyond.

- Responsible for developing new consultancy-based training products and processes
- Liasing with external training providers and internal teams
- Creating and developing printed and online materials
- Developing new training products and services
- Educational Consultant Team Leader for a team of six educational consultants with a variety of experience, needs and expectations
- Responsible for the selection, interviewing and recruitment of new educational consultants; and responsible for induction and training of 26 new educational consultants
- Regular speaker at regional and national user group conferences giving presentations to audiences of up to 300.
- Responsible for educational ICT training in schools, colleges, Pupil Referral Units, prisons and other educational units throughout the UK.
